Statement of Faith
The Bible is the inspired revelation of God’s nature and God’s will. The Bible is without error, infallible, and the primary source of authority for God.
There is one true God who exists eternally as three separate persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is fully human and fully God. He was born of a virgin and lived a life without knowing sin. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day and is now seated at the right hand of God. completely redeeming humanity from sin and from the consequences of sin. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church.
We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13). Then, we must believe—fully trust the Lord Jesus (Romans 1:16). This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ (Acts 3:19), and calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10, 13).
The works of the Holy Spirit are the same works of the Holy Spirit that are found within the book of Acts. The Holy Spirit empowers believers to be witnesses of Jesus to the world through reflecting His nature and continuing His works.
Jesus is going to return, and his return is imminent. Those who believe in Him will be eternally rewarded and resurrected with an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe shall be eternally punished.
Matthew 28:19–20 contains what has come to be called the Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
